Intuitive eating is an evidence-based framework that helps you discover and connect to your mind and body. Diet culture and fad diets often encourage us to ignore our body signals, eat only what is prescribed, and try to control our body shape with food. This can lead to restriction, anxiety around food, and ultimately weight gain beyond your original body weight.

Intuitive eating helps you honour your health by gaining awareness of your body’s signals. Listening and responding to your body’s internal wisdom guides you to meet your physical and psychological needs. Intuitive eating is a personal journey to empowerment as only you know what is right for your body.

For the chronic dieter ready to take on an intuitive eating lifestyle. Because hopping from one diet to another only creates more concussion, and you’re SO over all the food rules.

Enter: The Journey to Intuitive Eating Package – your guide to intuitive eating with a registered dietitian and certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. Together with your dietitian, you will explore your current eating behaviours, food rules, and self-care needs. You will honour your health by noticing, listening, and responding to internal cues of the body. You will begin to make peace with food and get back to the joy of eating.

What’s Included

Initial Consultation: Foundation and Assessment
We begin with an Intuitive Eating assessment to explore your dieting history, current challenges, and goals. Together, we identify meaningful health outcomes and create a clear, personalized plan to guide your journey.

Five 30-Minute Follow-Up Sessions: Skill Building and Support
Each session builds on the last, helping you strengthen intuitive eating skills in a practical away. Topics may include:

  • Recognizing and honoring hunger and fullness cues
  • Challenging food rules and the diet mindset
  • Reducing guilt and fear around certain foods
  • Navigating emotional eating with self-compassion
  • Developing body respect and self-trust
  • Introducing gentle nutrition without restriction

Worksheets and Practical Tools
Digital access to intuitive eating exercises, reflection worksheets, food behavior tools, and gentle nutrition guidance to reinforce progress between sessions.

Ongoing Support and Accountability
Email and chat support for up to 6 months so you can ask questions, work through challenges, and stay supported between appointments.

Valid for 12 months from purchase. Ongoing follow-ups are encouraged for continued growth and support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer direct billing? Can I use insurance to pay for the package?

Yes! We are able to direct bill to most insurance companies (including Sunlife, Canada Life, Manulife and more).  If you are booking a package, you can pay up front and we will direct bill for your reimbursement each session. Questions? Send us an email at info@intuitiondietitianco.ca

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Please contact us and we can arrange a payment plan for the Journey to Intuitive Eating Package.

Do you offer meal plans?

We do not provide specific meal by meal, day by day plans. Meal plans do not allow for you to choose foods based on your hunger, satisfaction, or pleasure needs at the time of eating. We will make recommendations for meals, snacks, and recipes based on your individual needs and goals, and help guide you in planning.

Do you offer in person or virtual sessions?

We offer both virtual and in person sessions at our downtown Kelowna office.

What if I want to lose weight? Is intuitive eating right for me?

Intuitive eating is not a weight loss program. It focuses on building a healthy relationship with food, honoring hunger and fullness, and creating sustainable habits that support overall health, which can sometimes lead to natural, gradual changes in weight.

What is your cancellation policy?

24 hours notice is requested for all cancellations as a courtesy to your dietitian and other clients. You will be provided with a written copy of the policy to sign at your first session.
